PHAGWARA: A lecture on ‘Internet of things’ was organized by the PG Department of Computer Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, today.

A lecture on ‘Internet of things’ was organized by the PG Department of Computer Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, today. Abhinav Kumar, manager, marketing and business development, Unlimit-Reliance Group, delivered the lecture.

Kumar spoke at length about internet as a technology and its application in various fields. He shared as to how internet has become a household name and how it is being used productively in various sectors like science and technology, transport and automobiles etc. He also explained how many productive uses can be derived from internet in our daily lives.

Principal of the college Dr Kiran Walia welcomed the guest and thanked him for sharing his views with the students. The faculty members and students of the department of computer science attended the lecture.
