Molestation case

Jalandhar: The Sadar police on Thursday rounded up a 35-year-old man for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl. The girl, staying near his rented accommodation, got pregnant and was in her second semester. The victim, being small, did not reveal anything to her parents and was continuously getting sexually molested by the tenant hailing from Bengal. It was only after the victim’s parents felt changes in her body that they consulted a doctor who later informed them about her pregnancy. The police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
