Jalandhar: Kuljeet Kaur Athwal, Associate Prof of the Department Punjabi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya received Niranjan Singh Noor Award.



Jalandhar: Kuljeet Kaur Athwal, Associate Prof of the Department Punjabi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya received Niranjan Singh Noor Award. The award was presented to her at Baba Darbara Singh Collegiate School, Tibba, Kapurthala. The college Principal Dr Ajay Sareen congratulated her on her achievement. The Niranjan Singh Noor Award has also been presented to renowned poets like Dr Surjit Patar, Dr Jagtar, Dr Jaswinder Singh, Sukhwinder Amrit and Amarjit Konke. TNS

Jalandhar: Students of the Department of Physiotherapy of  Lyallpur Khalsa College visited Deep Artificial Limb Centre at Chandigarh. Interacting with students, Karanbir Singh, CEO of the centre, apprised them of orthosis and prothosis and showed various kinds of artificial limbs. Dr Gurpinder Singh, principal of the college, said such kinds of trips played a crucial role in enhancing the knowledge of students. The head of the department, Dr Raju Sharma, presented a memento to Karanbir Singh, as a token of appreciation. TNS
