Meal delight for govt staff

Jalandhar: It is yet to be seen if the Sanjhi Rasoi project is able to satiate the hunger of the poor in the district, but the first two days of the launch has proved to be a hit amongst government employees. Instead of the poor and the needy, medical and non-medical staff including assistants of senior doctors working in the Civil Hospital here were seen enjoying the meal offered at concessional rates. As there is no ban put on government employees to avail the service, the dream project of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh may soon become unfeasible for the district administration to run consistently. Amid criticism and apprehensions over the drive, the government staff seems to be having a delightful time over the Rs 10 meal. TNS
