Phagwara MLA Som Parkash today accused Congress leaders, including former minister Joginder Singh Maan, and the police of misleading the people and implicating SAD and BJP supporters in false cases.
Addressing a press conference, Som Parkash and senior SAD leader Jarnail Singh Wahid said they would launch an agitation if they did not get justice in the next 15 days.
They said despite having a majority in the Municipal Corporation Phagwara, Congress leaders were unduly interfering in the working of the MC and administration. They accused the police of playing into the hands of the Congress.
The MLA also accused former minister Joginder Singh Maan of violating constitutional ethics and taking powers in his hands. — OC
