RMPI expresses angst over communal clashes

JALANDHAR: The Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) today condemned the incident that took place in Gujarat in which a students’ fight turned into a communal clash.

The Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) today condemned the incident that took place in Gujarat in which a students’ fight turned into a communal clash.

General secretary of the Revolutionary Marxist Party of India Mangat Ram Pasla said communal parties had been communalising the country. He said communal forces had been adopting its old tactics to gain space in the people’s heart. While urging the people to go away with communal clashes, Pasla said people must understand the conspiracies which were being planned.

He also called upon progressive parties to ensure that the Godhra incident doesn’t get repeated in the state. He said possibilities of communal conspiracies could not be ruled out in such a situation in the state of Gujarat.
