Sanjeev Juneja, convener of the Jalandhar chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed guests and members.
Gauravdeep Singh emphasised on the role of the youth in the development of the country. He said there were a number of NGOs in the country, but very few were working properly because of lack of motivation.
While talking about his experiences, he said, “The youth today need to take ownership of society and that can only be done, if elders give them the liberty to lead the country the way they want with their innovative ideas.”
He also talked about the positive impact of support from the administration and industry in the encouragement process of the youth.
The talk revolved around how we could channelise the energy of the youth to bring out positive change in the society and how we could create more constructive leaders for the society.
The seminar concluded with empowering videos on leadership and with a pledge to create a team of youth for Jalandhar that would transform the city in the coming years. — TNS
