Jalandhar, January 12

The SSA/RMSA Office Employees Union will be holding a campaign against Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Lohri day regarding non-receipt of salaries by the union members for the past four months as well as non-regularisation of employees despite government promises in this regard.

Union members said they would spread the word on un-kept promises of the government and wear black badges to work on Lohri. State vice-president of the union Ashish Julaha said the Akali-BJP government’s notification to regularise employees was so far restricted only to papers. He claimed that the orders were not yet released by the Education Department. —TNS
