Jalandhar: Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, won the XIIth World Robot Olympiad (India) nationals organised by the India Stem Foundation at Noida on October 7 and 8. As many as 300 teams from all over the country participated in the event. Two teams under the guidance of teacher in charge, Pooja Ghai, performed well. Team one, comprising of Namanvir Singh, Tanav Ghai, Yash Chopra and team two, having Paramdeep Singh Gill, Arnav Anand and Pranav Bakshi participated in the tournament. Junior athletics meet
Jalandhar: State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt, organised a junior athletics meet. Harpreet, a student of Class XI, lit the sports torch, conveying the message of unity and integrity. The president of the group of State Public School, Dr Narotam Singh, and vice-president, Dr Gagandeep Kaur, were also present on the occasion. Students participated in various track events like back race, lemon race and balance race etc. The overall trophy was bagged by Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House.
