Youth nabbed with drug pills from court complex

Hoshiarpur, February 16

The police today nabbed a youth from the court complex here. The accused had allegedly come to the place to supply drug pills to an undertrial who was to be produced in the court.

The arrested youth tried to flee from the place, but cops nabbed him after chasing him for a short distance.

When the police searched him, nearly 200 lose orange pills were recovered from him. According to the police, the pills were of some narcotic drug and he was there to deliver these to the undertrial who was to be produced before the court. The police personnel rounded him up and informed the City Police.

The arrested accused was identified as Ranjit Singh, alias Sabi, of Nadalon village under the Mehtianan police station. — OC
