Ludhiana: Two persons have been nabbed by the police on the charge of gambling. The nabbed accused been identified as Daljit Singh of Sanjay Gandhi colony and Cheeku of New Modopuri. The police said a raid was conducted on a tip-off and the duo was nabbed.
House burgled
A house was reportedly burgled in Hazuri Bagh colony. Thieves decamped with cash and valuables. House owner Manvinder Singh said the thieves entered the house by breaking the locks. They took away 7-tola gold ornaments and Rs 30,000. — TNS
