BSNL employees demand bonus

Ludhiana, October 13

The BSNL Employees' Union organised a massive protest demonstration demanding release of payment of bonus, at Bharat Nagar Chowk, here today.

Balbir Singh, National President of BSNL Employees Union, said last year, the management paid a meager amount of Rs 3,000 against our demand of Rs 7,000 on the pretext that the income of the company had not increased much and company was in losses. “This time also the management is denying bonus on the same pretext,” he said. He said the statement of the management was misleading as the company income was increasing continuously. — TNS
