Ludhiana, May 21

The Municipal Corporation had recently announced that a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed on those found burning garbage or dry leaves etc.

They also publicised the number of their officer Dr Vipal Malhotra to report and share pictures of any such incident in the city. In continuation of that effort, CRAMAT (Citizens’ Reporting and Mapping Tool) app has added one more category “Garbage/ Dry Leaf Burning”.

Citizens can use the same app they have been using to report other civic issues and select this new category and such complaints along with pictures and precise GPS locations marked on google map. It will automatically be forwarded to the same officer, said Jaskirat Singh from Team CRAMAT.
