The Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) will be holding a meeting with Roshan Sunkaria, Principal Secretary, Department of Science Technology and Environment, and senior officials of the Punjab Pollution Control Board tomorrow.
The objective of the meeting was to educate members about cost-effective methods to control pollution in the industry, said Avtar Singh, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking president.
Upkar Singh, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking General Secretary, said some of the points to be discussed in the meeting include the voluntary disclosure scheme, permanent consent for the green category, promoting recycling of water and treatment of effluent through RO.
The meeting will be attended by PPCB officials and prominent industrialists.
Other issues
