Civil Surgeon tells students about deworming

Ludhiana, August 10

National Deworming Day was observed by the Health Department today. Civil Surgeon Hardeep Singh Ghai was present at Government Primary School, Gobind Nagar, to mark the day. He made the students aware about the importance of deworming.

Deworming medicines were given to the students. “Twice in a year, it is necessary to deworm children as it helps in destroying worms that hamper the growth, said Dr Ghai. —TNS
