DAV-BRS Nagar wraps up titles

Ludhiana, October 13

Hosts DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, wrapped up both titles at stake in the DAV National Sports Cluster Level Tournament 2017 for boys and girls (U-19) held here today.

Seven teams — five in the boys’ and two in the girls’ section — battled it out to secure top honours. These included teams from Jalandhar, Khanna, Jagraon and Talwara and Ludhiana. In the boys’ section, DAV Model School, Khanna, finished as runner-up while Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar, secured second position in the girls’ section.

Renowned agriculture economist SS Johal distributed the prizes. —OC
