Ludhiana: An employee of the PSPCL was robbed of Rs 2 lakh by six persons in the Dugri area.



Ludhiana: An employee of the PSPCL was robbed of Rs 2 lakh by six persons in the Dugri area. The victim, Ram Saroop, said he had withdrawn the cash and bills from a machine of the PSPCL meant for depositing bills. He was on the way to deposit the cash in a bank when he was cornered by six miscreants at Model Town Extension. They asked him to hand over the bag carrying cash. When he resisted, they snatched the bag and fled the scene. The bag also contained cheques for Rs 7.38 lakh. A case has been registered. TNS
