Railways partially restores run of 14 trains

LUDHIANA: The Northern Railway authorities have announced partial restoration of 14 trains which were earlier fully/partially cancelled due to foggy weather from January 8 to February 29.

The Northern Railway authorities have announced partial restoration of 14 trains which were earlier fully/partially cancelled due to foggy weather from January 8 to February 29. The situation arising from the cancellation of trains was reviewed and in the wake of weather conditions showing signs of improvement, frequency of the partially cancelled trains was being increased with immediate effect.

According to railway officials, 12237 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi Express (cancelled on Wednesday, Sunday) will run on Sunday, 12238 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Express (cancelled on Monday, Thursday) on Monday, 12413 Ajmer-Jammu Tawi Puja Express (cancelled on Tuesday, Thursday) on Tuesday, 12414 Jammu Tawi-Ajmer Puja Express (cancelled on Monday, Wednesday) on Monday, 12497/12498 New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi Shan-e-Punjab (cancelled on Wednesday, Saturday) on Saturday, 13005 Howrah-Amritsar Mail (cancelled on Monday, Thursday) on Monday and 13006 Amritsar-Howrah Mail (cancelled on Wednesday, Saturday) will run on Saturday.

Further, 12715 Nanded-Amritsar Sachkhand Express (cancelled on Monday, Thursday) will resume operation on Thursday, 12716 Amritsar-Nanded Sachkhand (cancelled on Wednesday, Saturday) on Wednesday, 12903 Mumbai-Amritsar Golden Temple Mail will run on Sunday, 12904 Amritsar-Mumbai Goldn Temple Mail on Tuesday, 12925 Amritsar-Bandra Mumbai Pashchim Express (cancelled on Wednesday, Sunday) on Wednesday and 12926 Amritsar-Bandra Mumbai Pashchim Express (cancelled on Tuesday, Friday) will run on Friday.

Meanwhile, the 18110 Jammu Tawi-Rourkela Muri Link Express will remain cancelled on January 17, February 25 and March 3 due to operational reasons, it was officially stated.
