Six police personnel injured in road mishap

KHANNA: Six police personnel, including women, were injured when a truck collided with their vehicle near Rasulra village near here.

Six police personnel, including women, were injured when a truck collided with their vehicle near Rasulra village near here.

Sources said the police personnel were returning to Khanna from Issru in a police vehicle when a truck coming from the Khanna side collided head on with their vehicle.

Due to the collision, the police vehicle later hit a roadside tree resulting in injuries to the occupants.

The injured were taken to the Khanna Civil Hospital from where they were discharged after first aid.

A case has been registered against the truck driver.
