Ludhiana: An 18-year-old boy hanged himself from a tree near the Zone D office of the Municipal Corporation at Sarabha Nagar here on Monday.



Ludhiana: An 18-year-old boy hanged himself from a tree near the Zone D office of the Municipal Corporation at Sarabha Nagar here on Monday. He didn't perform well in his compartment exam, which was held recently. The deceased, identified as Jeevan Pun, is a native of Nepal. He lived in the Maharaj Nagar area. According to information, Jeevan studied in Class XII and worked part time to earn a livelihood. Last year, he failed in the board exam and this year, he appeared for a compartment exam. A post-mortem examination was conducted at Civil Hospital. The police have informed the family of the deceased in Nepal. The police said the deceased had told his close ones that his compartment exam did not go well and he was depressed. TNS
