Ludhiana: A party was organised on the premises of Radha Vatika School. Students of primary classes enjoyed joy rides such as jumping jack, Merry-Go-Round, etc.

Ludhiana: A party was organised on the premises of Radha Vatika School. Students of primary classes enjoyed joy rides such as jumping jack, Merry-Go-Round, etc. Rain Dance was a big hit among children. Enjoying in the splash pool provided them with a relief from the scorching heat. jumpers-sliders, car ride, tractor ride were the attractions of the day. Mouth-watering dishes were served at the end of the bash.

Maths week observed 

Maths week was observed by Blossoms Convent School. All models and projects made by the students were displayed at the exhibition. Harinder Singh, Maths HOD, Satya Bharti School, was the judge. First position was won by APJ Abdul Kalam house and Pratibha Patil, Rabinder Naath Tagore, Kalpana Chawla house were second, third and fourth, respectively. School Principal Amarjeet Kaur Naaz blessed the students.

Collage-making activity 

A collage-making activity on different ways to greet people was organised at BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, wherein students of Classes IX and X participated. The activity was organised as a part of the ISA Project. Best collages were selected and displayed on the boards. The aim of the activity was to imbibe in students a sense to greet people in different languages around the world.

Investiture organised

Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, BRS Nagar, celebrated its Investiture. The outgoing cabinet handed over their duties to the newly-selected council. The school and house cabinet members then took an oath to upkeep the pride of the school.

Green Grove Public School 

An investiture was held at Green Grove Public School to inculcate the qualities of leadership, discipline and service. School president JPS Jolly presided over the function. Colonel Suresh C was the guest of honour. Chairperson Satinderjeet Kaur Jolly, Daya Rani, Principal Suzy George and Vice-Principal Ronald were present. The outgoing cabinet members handed over the responsibility to the newly-selected council. The Oath was administered by former head girl Karanveer Kaur. The dignitaries felicitated the new cabinet by honoring them with badges and Sashes. Arman Singh Mundi and Jeevanjot Kaur of Class XII were selected as the head boy and head girl, respectively. Inderjot Kaur and Tejdeep Kaur of Class XII (Medical) were elected as the president and vice-president, respectively.

Lectures on discipline 

Considering the utmost significance of discipline in students' lives, a lecture series on discipline was organised at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar. Moral stories regarding discipline were shared with the students.

Grandparent’s Day 

Planet E School celebrated Grandparent’s Day with great zeal. The programme commenced with a prayer and a welcome song followed by entertaining performances by the students. Various games were organised for grandparents. Tiny tots in colourful attires presented a dance which was appreciated by everyone. Students showed their respect and gratitude by washing their grandparents' feet. tns
