Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha, today conducted different competitions to polish the personality of the children.
A number of competitions were held at the school. Tiny Tots of class I and II performed clay modeling while the students from III to V participated in flag-making competitions and presentations.
Boys and girls from VI to VIII devoted their time to sports by participating in inter-house boxing and hockey competitions.
English Essay Writing Competition was conducted for IX and X to make them more efficient in learning and writing skills. Class XI and XII girls were given a chance to participate in an inter-house sandwich making competition considering their interest in cooking.
Earth House stood first by beating Jupiter and Mars House. Boys of XI and XII participated in a turban tying competition in which Gurkirat Singh won I position, Arshdeep Singh II and Pushpinder Singh III. — OC
