Parth Arora, who came up with his first book “The World’s Most Powerful Man” at the age of 13 last year, has been recognised by the Indian Achiever Book of Records for becoming the youngest writer to sell 500 copies of his work. While giving more information about his book, Parth said the book was published by a Chennai-based Notion Press and was being sold at retail stores as well as on the e-commerce websites.

He said, “My book is a work of fiction. It deals with a person, who becomes the world’s most powerful man.” Parth says he has been inspired by the Harry Potter series of JK Rowling.

The book was inspired by a playtime story he had heard as a child. He re-imagined and developed the plot to make it interesting. It was his first book and now at the age of 14, he was ready to release the sequel to this book, which was titled “The World’s Most Powerful Man - And the Proficiscentur”.

Parth said, “The sequel becomes more interesting as there is a role of a machine that brings back people to life.”

Speaking about the experience of writing books, he says it has been nothing short of fantastic. Writing books enhanced his creativity and also improved his language and vocabulary, he added.

The young author, who is a Class IX student at Sacred Heart Convent School, said he wanted to become an aeronautical engineer, but writing would still remain his passion.

“If conditions allow, I will continue writing,” he added. But, there is no stopping of his maiden book as he said, “I have left some suspense and unanswered questions about which I will write in yet another sequel to this book later on.”
