AIR Hamirpur celebrates 24th anniversary

HAMIRPUR: The Ghazal Symphony at All India Radio (AIR) station here mesmerised audience with songs of golden era and folklores sung by local artistes, including Ajay Mehra, Joginder Puri Balla, Vijay Bagga Raju, and folk singers sharing the stage today to mark the 24th anniversary of the AIR station here today.

The Ghazal Symphony at All India Radio (AIR) station here mesmerised audience with songs of golden era and folklores sung by local artistes, including Ajay Mehra, Joginder Puri Balla, Vijay Bagga Raju, and folk singers sharing the stage today to mark the 24th anniversary of the AIR station here today.

The AIR organised a “Sham-e-Ghazal” programme to celebrate the occasion but inclusion of Pahari, Punjabi and folk songs added more grandeur to the programme.

Pardeep Kumar, in-charge of the station, said since the AIR station here was entering its silver jubilee year, AIR family decided to celebrate it by organising the ghazal programme.
