Ludhiana, April 28
The city seems to be going gaga over Bahubali 2, the film that was released yesterday. Most cinema houses in the city are going almost houseful with the film. Residents, who were coming out of cinemas after watching the flick, said they were in awe of the film.
Rajat, who seemed to be all charged up after watching the movie said, “Bahubali 2 is a film based on epic Indian tale. It is action-packed. It is a fantastic film and a must-watch.” “Some people may not like it for all its action, but still it is rooted in the epic and tale,” he said.
“The actors have also done a great job,” he added. “I don’t even know their names properly, but still I enjoyed the film,” he said.
“It is actually the victory of Indian cinema as people are not watching for the star value of Amitabh Bachchan or a Khan or any heroine. They are watching the film for the cinema, the epic, the tale and the action. That is the beauty of the film, which transcends the star-value and just wins you,” said Angad, another youngster.
“We are going houseful for most of the shows. Almost 40 per cent of audience says that they are going to watch the film again,” an official at the PVR said.
“There is a great response for a dubbed South Indian movie. Given the reaction it is getting, it might even go on to smash all records,” he said. “It is an unprecedented response for a non-Hindi dubbed film,” he added.
Gurpal Singh, an official at SRS Cinemas said all shows are going almost full with around 90 per cent booking for the most.
