Beauty expert announces launch of salon

Patiala: “Personal grooming has become the buzz word today, and whether you like it or not, people will perceive you by your appearance,” said beauty expert and hairstylist Abhay Girdhar, who was in the town to announce the launch of his hair, beauty, makeup and nail academy, MERAKI Salon, here on Tuesday. He said for the local academy, he had tied up with the city’s (Patiala) popular salon MERAKI, where, henceforth, the students would also be provided international standard of education in hair, beauty, nail art and makeup. He said the courses offered at the academy include foundation course in hair styling, comprehensive course in hair, creative hair styling,  refresh the basics, art of beauty, art of makeup and nail art. — OC
