Solan, February 21
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said his son Vikramaditya Singh would contest the Vidhan Sabha elections from his Shimla (Rural) seat.
Responding to a media query at Nahan, he said he was still young and if people wanted, he would become the Chief Minister for the seventh time. Though he did not clarify which seat he would chose for himself. He said the development work in the Nahan constituency was hit as people had opted for an imported candidate.
He termed the BJP tenures as devoid of development and said successive Congress regimes had ensured unprecedented development of the state while the BJP was caught in other issues while in power. — TNS
