A meeting of ‘Ahrtia Association’, Khamano, was held in which 19 members of the association participated to elect their new chief of the association.
The meeting elected the Congress supporter Tejinder Singh Dhillon unanimously as the new president. During the meeting the members said the president can elect other office bearers to posts like vice-president, general secretary, treasurer etc with consultation among concerned members.
Significantly, last president, Gurdev Singh, who belongs to the AAP, did not attend this meeting along with his other six members to elect the president.
