Patiala, January 24

An English play, “Internal Affairs”, will be staged at Harpal Tiwana Centre for Performing Arts here on January 29 at 6.30 PM.

The play is supported by the Harpal Tiwana Foundation. Directed by Adhaar Khurana, the play features Shriya Pilgaonkar, Hussain Dalal, Priyanshu Painyuli and Shikha Talsania in lead roles.

Talking about the play, Shriya Pilgaonkar comments: “‘Internal Affairs’ is urban and young in its sensibilities and treatment. It’s a slice of life. The story is split into three chapters. The first is from the boy’s perspective, second from the girl’s and the third tying up loose ends. We recently performed in Delhi, where ‘Internal Affairs’ kick started the Zee Theatre Tour and we got a great response. We are excited to be performing in Patiala.”

Manpal Tiwana, creative director, Harpal Tiwana Foundation, said the play “Internal affairs” is first in the league and many more are in the pipeline. — TNS
