Jammu, February 21
MLA from RS Pura constituency, Gagan Bhagat, inaugurated a free eye check-up camp for people belonging to rural and border areas today.
This was the 10th eye check-up camp at RS Pura within the past one year which was organised by Dr KD’s Eye Hospital in collaboration with the Community Health Centre, RS Pura.
The camp provided free diagnostic and treatment facilities besides conducting cataract surgeries of poor patients.
Appreciating the efforts of the hospital in offering free services to poor and ailing persons, the MLA emphasised the need for holding such camps on a regular basis in rural and far-off areas. — TNS
