Man killed in road accident identified

Chandigarh: A pillion rider, who was killed after two motorcycles met with an accident in Sector 42 here on Saturday night, has been identified as Vinay Kumar, a resident of Ram Darbar. Complainant Abhinav Malik, a resident of Sector 42, said an unknown driver of Pulsar motorcycle (CH-01AF-5764) hit another Hero CD Deluxe motorcycle (CH-03W-6441) near Hotel Beckon, Sector 42.

A pillion rider, who was killed after two motorcycles met with an accident in Sector 42 here on Saturday night, has been identified as Vinay Kumar, a resident of Ram Darbar. Complainant Abhinav Malik, a resident of Sector 42, said an unknown driver of Pulsar motorcycle (CH-01AF-5764) hit another Hero CD Deluxe motorcycle (CH-03W-6441) near Hotel Beckon, Sector 42.

Vinay, who was riding pillion on the Pulsar motorcycle, suffered injuries. He was admitted to the Government Hospital, Sector 16. Vinay was later shifted to the PGI where he succumbed to his injuries. The police have registered a case against the accused riding the Pulsar motorcycle. — TNS
