More DA for staff availing pre-revised pay

CHANDIGARH: The state government has decided that the rate of dearness allowance (DA) admissible to its employees, who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay band/grade pay as per the Sixth Pay Commission, has been enhanced from the existing rate of 125 per cent to 132 per cent of the pay with effect from July 1, 2016.

The state government has decided that the rate of dearness allowance (DA) admissible to its employees, who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay band/grade pay as per the Sixth Pay Commission, has been enhanced from the existing rate of 125 per cent to 132 per cent of the pay with effect from July 1, 2016.

The additional instalment of DA payable under these orders will be paid in cash to all government employees with the salary for the month of March to be paid in April .

The payment of arrears of enhanced dearness allowance from July, 2016, to February, 2017, will be made in April .

A notification to this effect was issued by the Finance Department today. —TNS
