DEHRADUN: Drishti Eye Institute felicitated twin sister mountaineers Tashi and Nungshi Malik at a function to commemorate 15 years of the lasik surgery and 25,000 successful lasik procedures at the institute.

Drishti Eye Institute felicitated twin sister mountaineers Tashi and Nungshi Malik at a function to commemorate 15 years of the lasik surgery and 25,000 successful lasik procedures at the institute.

The mountaineers were the first and youngest twins to scale Mt Everest and the first pair of siblings to scale seven summits in seven continents of the world.

Dr MC Luthra, chairman of Drishti Group, said lasik is a quick and effective procedure to reduce one’s dependence on glasses or contact lenses.

Dr Gaurav Luthra, senior cataract and refractive surgeon, said Nungshi and Tashi Malik had undergone successful eye surgeries.
