NRI raises pitch against AAP fundraisers

Jalandhar: Chicago-based neonatologist and suspended AAP leader Dr Munish Raizada has launched a ‘Chanda Band Satyagraha’ against the party’s fundraising campaign. He has also sought the Election Commission's intervention to stop AAP's alleged efforts to “deceive the public on the pretext of financial transparency”. Dr Raizada, who returned from the US on December 21, was suspended in November 2015 after he criticised national convener Arvind Kejriwal for offering support to former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav. He had joined AAP in 2012 and was appointed co-convener of the party’s NRI cell.  Gagandeep Singh
