Power supply disrupted as vehicle hits pole

ABOHAR: An unidentified vehicle reportedly hit an electricity pole outside Mahakali Temple on the Sriganganagar road here at 11.

Abohar, April 28

An unidentified vehicle reportedly hit an electricity pole outside Mahakali Temple on the Sriganganagar road here at 11.45 pm yesterday, resulting in complete power breakdown.

Thousands of families had to remain without power and water supply for 19 hours here and business activities were also paralysed. A private contractor’s team was called from Muktsar that replaced the pole by 7 pm today.
