Lahaul Spiti MLA Ravi Thakur said this year, an amount of Rs 55 crore was spent on development works under different departments in the district.
He said to facilitate people with better road connectivity, a number of bridges were constructed in different areas of the district while at many places construction work was under progress.
“The Lobar, Kheernala, Kyoto, Nalda, Chhaling and Chokhang bridges were entrusted to the public after completion of work while detailed project reports of Peukar, Yoche, Kardang, Chheling, Salgran and few other bridges have been prepared for the purpose,” he added.
He said apart from this, funds were spent over irrigation and drinking water schemes for the benefit of people.
