Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be in the Valley for three more days as he has extended his shooting schedule to complete Kabir Khan’s “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” at central Kashmir’s Sonamarg resort.

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor and Salman’s co-star in the film joined the crew on Saturday evening. She directly drove to the Sonamarg resort after she landed at the Srinagar International Airport.

Like Khan, Kareena Kapoor also seems to be in love with the Valley’s landscapes, posing for cameras and taking selfies.

The actors, as per sources, will shoot for the “Selfie” song of the movie in Sonamarg.

Khan after packing his nearly 45-day shooting schedule in Kashmir is likely to leave for Mumbai on Wednesday.

According to the Khawar Jamsheed (KJ) Productions, which organised the shoot of the film, the actor has extended the shooting by three more days.

“Khan has extended the shooting by three more days as a few sequences of the film are yet to be shot,” said Khawar Jamsheed, who is the Line Producer of the film in Kashmir.

“Kareena shot some sequences in the Sonamarg resort on Sunday and have to shoot some more,” Khawar said. “I guess the crew will leave for Mumbai on Wednesday,” he added.

Dressed in black pathani suit, Salman Khan addressed the first press conference at Snowland resort, Sonamarg, on Sunday evening after he was given bail by the High Court, Mumbai, in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

Director Kabir Khan, who sat alongside Salman Khan during the media interaction, said a teaser of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” would be soon released.

“There is no negative portrayal of Kashmir in the film. It deals with the negative politics that all of us are victims of. Its trailer will be released soon,” Kabir said.

The film has been shot in Pahalgam, Aru, Sonamarg, Thajwas and Zojila.

The director, who previously made “Ek Tha Tiger” with Salman, said it was surprising to see no cinemas in the Valley where there were many fans of Bollywood. “We would love to release the movie here. (But) it is surprising that there is no theatre,” Kabir said, adding that the government should do something to change that.
