Sangeet sammelan on November 19, 20

A ‘sangeet sammelan’ to mark the 97th birth anniversary of late Satguru Jagjit Singh will be organised at the Dera Bhaini Saheb on November 19 and 20.

Lakhvir Singh Badowal, spokesman for the Dera Bhaini Saheb, said the sammelen would be organised under the leadership of dera chief Uday Singh.

He said a meeting was held at the dera in which the arrangements for the event were reviewed. He said on November 19, various artistes including, Ajay Pal Singh, Karam Singh, Ram Narayan, Harsh Narayan,Harpreet Singh Namdhari, Ustad Aman Ulla Khan and Ustad Sukhwinder Singh would perform. On November 20, Vidushi Kaushiki, Chakarvarti, Sandeep Ghosh, Pandat Ajay Jogleker, Pandat Anubrat Chatterjee, Panday Anindo Chjatterjee would perform. Badowal said during the meeting, dera members Suba Satnam Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, and others were assigned duties to be performed during the sammelen.
