Shimla, January 12
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated first LED video wall costing Rs 67 lakh at Indira Gandhi Khel Parisar.
The CM said more such walls would be set up at major tourist spots in the city like Scandal Point and Rotary Building. He said tourism-related activities, useful information about various tourist destinations, besides live telecast would be the main attraction.
“It will also help attract tourists,” said the CM, adding that with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank, various projects had been proposed for the beautification of the city.
He said the bridge in front of the Sports Complex would be re-built with traditional architect.
Mayor Sanjay Chauhan said permission was not sought from the civic body before installing the LED.
