State’s first cashless RLA office opens

HAMIRPUR: The state’s first cashless vehicle registration office was opened here by Deputy Commissioner Madan Chauhan here yesterday.



Hamirpur, March 22

The state’s first cashless vehicle registration office was opened here by Deputy Commissioner Madan Chauhan here yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the administration was committed to adopting fastest means and latest technology to provide fast services to the public. He said with the start of the cashless fee deposit facility at the RLA office people were not required to carry cash.

He said this would help in fast processing of registration and issuance of registration certificates to the vehicle owners. He said SDM Arindum Chaudhary here was instrumental in setting up the facility in the office.

Chief Secretary VC Pharka hailed the efforts of the district administration and said the administration should make the maximum use of e-governance facilities in his communication to the administration. Every RLA in the state should adopt this technology to give best services to the people of the state, he added. — OC
