State’s first endocrinologist joins Tanda medical college

KANGRA: The first endocrinologist of the state and a senior professor of neurology have been posted at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (DRPGMC) at Tanda.

The first endocrinologist of the state and a senior professor of neurology have been posted at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (DRPGMC) at Tanda.

Dr Anil Chauhan, Director of Medical Education, today said Dr Kushdev Singh Jaryal, the first endocrinologist of the state, had been directed to join the DRPGMC at Tanda.

He said the state government had yesterday granted approval to the appointment of Dr LC Thakur as a professor in the neurology department of the DRPGMC, Tanda, under the Rogi Kalyan Samiti.

Dr Chauhan said both appointments were made by the government to provide better patient service in the region.
