State tourism body to ink pact with Kerala

SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) will ink an MoU with Kerala State Tourism for cultural exchange under ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) scheme.

The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) will ink an MoU with Kerala State Tourism for cultural exchange under ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) scheme.

Disclosing this today, Chief Secretary VC Pharka said a calendar of events would be developed and school/higher education curricula would be updated by incorporating the National Integration Module. Highlighting the importance of EBSB, Pharka said various programmes would connect people through exchanges in areas of culture, tourism, language, education and trade. This would provide an opportunity to citizens to experience the cultural diversity of other states, he added. — TNS
