Symbolic digging an act of frustration, says Barala

State BJP president Subhash Barala today said the symbolic digging of the SYL canal by the INLD was an act of frustration to remain in the limelight. He said the INLD made no efforts when it was in power to ensure that Haryana got its share of river water.

Talking to The Tribune, Barala said the INLD was struggling to retain its political base. He said people understood that BJP was fighting for their interest.

Barala said the government successfully presented its case, due to which the Supreme Court gave its verdict in favour of Haryana.
