Kullu Special Judge-II Jia Lal Azad sentenced Lal Chand, a resident of Dimchin village in the Fozal valley of Kullu district, to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on him in a case under the NDPS Act. — OC

Man arrested with charas

The police arrested a 43-year-old man at Thamba village and recovered 60 gram of charas from his possession. Kangra District Police Chief Sanjeev Gandhi said the accused had been identified as Hussan–ud-Din of Thamba village. — OC
