One killed in land dispute

ABOHAR: Fateh Singh (70) was killed and his son Prithvi Singh (42) was grievously injured as six armed persons allegedly attacked them over land dispute in Bhairuchhani village in Hanumangarh around 9 am today.

Fateh Singh (70) was killed and his son Prithvi Singh (42) was grievously injured as six armed persons allegedly attacked them over land dispute in Bhairuchhani village in Hanumangarh around 9 am today. The police said a case under Sections 324 and 302 etc had been registered against Inderpal Singh, Rajesh, Subhash, Sunny Beniwal and two unidentified persons.

In Hansalia village, near Hanumangarh, the police arrested Beant Singh, Kashmir Singh, Raju, Ashu Ram, Moman Ram and Chanan Ram, following a clash over the possession of land today. — OC
