Woman sexually abused by kin for two years

MOGA: A 21-year-old woman of Sukhanand village in Moga district, who is a student of nursing, was being sexually abused by a relative for the past two years on the pretext of marriage.

A 21-year-old woman of Sukhanand village in Moga district, who is a student of nursing, was being sexually abused by a relative for the past two years on the pretext of marriage.

In her statement to the police, the victim stated that her sister’s husband, Gurpreet Singh, had introduced her to his brother, Kuldip Singh, a resident of Sireawala village.

“Kuldip developed physical relations with me on the pretext of marriage. Now, after sexually abusing me for the past two years, he has refused to marry me,” she alleged.

After recording her statement, the police have registered a case at the Samalsar police station under Sections 363, 366, 376 and 120B of the IPC against main accused Kuldip and Gurpreet for hatching a conspiracy.
