CCTV cameras functioning properly at IGI: CISF

NEW DELHI:The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said the CCTV cameras at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were functioning properly and being maintained by DIAL on a regular basis for any breakdown.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said the CCTV cameras at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were functioning properly and being maintained by DIAL on a regular basis for any breakdown.

Referring to a report in the paper, the CISF said: “The process of upgrading CCTV cameras to HD format is progressing in a phased manner, the fact which has been outlined in several press releases by DIAL itself. Moreover, at the moment, no demand has been placed by the CISF on face detection cameras. Technology up gradation is an ongoing process, which DIAL has actively been doing as per the recommendations of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS)”.
