DSGMC honours NEET topper

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has decided to honour Navdeep Singh who secured the top rank in the all India entrance examination NEET for MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges throughout India.

The DSGMC general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that this was a proud moment for the whole Sikh community as one of their own had secured such an excellent position, beating many students across the nation.

“With this achievement, members of the community have once again proven that though this community is in minority in India and has a wafer thin presence worldwide, with the blessings of the almighty, the Sikh community can do wonders,” Sirsa said.

He also pointed out that the news of this achievement comes at a significant time as community members worldwide are making headlines for their achievements right now. Sirsa then congratulated the boy and wished him greater success in the future.

Navdeep Singh was on cloud nine when he saw his name right on top of the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test result list. .
