Former national coach attacked by goons, one injured

NEW DELHI:Last night, goons opened firing on a former national wrestling coach, Pishori Lal Anand and his employees, trying to loot him, in which one of his employees got injured.

Last night, goons opened firing on a former national wrestling coach, Pishori Lal Anand and his employees, trying to loot him, in which one of his employees got injured. However, the retired coach escaped narrowly during the firing, police said.

On the complaint of Pishori, police has registered an FIR. A salesman of Pishori's showroom, Murari Lal, got hit on his leg and has been admitted to Apollo Hospital, said police.

Pishori is running an electronics showroom in Kalkaji. Last night, like other days, around 9:15 pm, he closed his shop and left with his son, Sandeep Anand, for his residence in Noida and took along Lal also in his car, police said.

As soon as Pishori opened the car door to drop Lal at Okhla Industrial Area, four goons surrounded him pointing weapon at him and to loot him, opened firing on him, they said.

During which, Sandeep, who was behind the wheels moved the car in high speed and fled away from the spot. According to Pishori, the goons snatched a bag from Lal’s hands, which had some money and documents, police said.

According to police, the goons had intention to loot Pishori . Police have taken the CCTV footage to recognise the culprits involved in the dacoity.
