The Delhi Furniture Federation conveyed its displeasure with certain proposed GST provisions.

The Federation disapproved the inclusion of ‘furniture’ in 28 per cent slab of GST and the idea of it being called an item of luxury.

The Delhi Furniture Federation declared that these decisions along with bringing down import duty on furniture goods to ten per cent will bring doomsday to the Indian furniture industry.
